Book of Condolence opened for Lord Lawson of Blaby

Following the sad passing of Lord Lawson of Blaby, a Book of Condolence has been opened at Alberto's Constituency Office in Blaby for any constituents who might to record messages of remembrance. 

The Book of Condolence will be open at the Blaby Office for the remainder of this week between the hours of 9am and 5pm. 

Alberto's Constituency Office is located at Unit 3, 8a Lutterworth Road, Blaby, LE8 4DN.

Remembering Lord Lawson of Blaby

It was with great sadness that I was informed of the passing of one of Leicestershire’s most prominent modern day parliamentarians. He was my predecessor but one, and arguably Britain’s most influential post war Chancellor of the Exchequer. His tax cutting Budgets of the late 1980s have stood the test of time, with successive Conservative and Labour governments keeping much of the substance of the tax rate differentials in place to this day.
