Boosting our healthy Leicestershire economy still further by promoting our local shops, post offices and public houses in our villages and towns as community assets and  partnering with businesses to offer more apprenticeships to younger people.

Supporting our local NHS and working with doctors, nurses and health care staff to ensure a full range of health services are available for local Leicestershire residents including better services for dementia patients, carers and family.

As a business lawyer, Alberto has a deep understanding of commercial issues and is keen to support small, medium and large businesses in South Leicestershire to develop and grow.Alberto said, "Through working closely with organisations such as the Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP), East Midlands Chamber and the Federation of Small Business, I look forward to engaging with businesses across the constituency.

Alberto meets regularly with residents and various organisations from across the constituency, to hear their views and opinions.Alberto said, "I thoroughly enjoy meeting people from all walks of life. Ranging from schools to retirement homes, it has been incredibly helpful to meet so many people both before and after the eleciton, to hear their views.I will continue my meetings and tours across South Leicestershire to hear what matters to them and would also encourage people to contact me to raise any issues or concerns they may have." 

Alberto is committed to working with Leicestershire County Council to deliver fairer funding for Leicestershire.Leicestershire for a number of years has had a low level of spend relative to other local authorities, which has created pressures on spending and budgetary savings.
