On Friday 1st November 2024, Alberto Costa MP will host the South Leicestershire Pensioners Fair from 12:00 – 14:30 at Narborough Parish Hall, Desford Rd, Narborough, Leicester, LE19 2EL.
This event is a great opportunity for pensioners and their family to pop along and hear about the support available to pensioners in their local community. Attendees will include Harborough District Council, Blaby District Council, Job Centre Plus, Modern Mobility, PSA Financial, Sapcote Memory Hub, British Gas and many more.
Alberto Costa, MP for South Leicestershire, said “I’m looking forward to hosting this event at the end and encourage pensioners and their family from across the constituency to come along.”
Alberto Costa MP added, “The organisations attending have supported pensioners across the area and it is great to bring them together so that pensioners and their family can learn more about the work they do and how it can be of help to them if need be.”
Sapcote Memory Hub Director, Samantha Harrison said, "Sapcote Memory Hub is committed to providing vital support for families and carers affected by dementia across Leicestershire. Our range of activities, including group cognitive stimulation, music therapy, dancing, and days out ensures that everyone has access to the best possible care. We also have a fantastic Outreach Service made possible by National Lottery funding.”
